Vista sidebar feeds not updating long distance dating and reunions
A number of news readers are available for you to download, many at no cost. News readers vary slightly in how they look and act, so you may find yourself testing several before settling on one. The Elizabethtown Emmaus Community offers one RSS feed that is updated as Community News and Events occur.
To subscribe to RSS feed from etownemmaus.org, simply select the way you want to view the feed; currently XML, Google, or Yahoo; at the bottom of this page.
Click on icon, and follow your news reader's instructions for subscribing to (or adding) feeds. Click on the XML icon at the bottom of the page and click the 'Subscribe to this feed' link near the top of the page.
If you install a lot of different Vista Gadgets you might have come across a situation where your Vista Sidebar no longer is working correctly, or possibly even crashing or (more frequently) just hanging.Click on the X to close a gadget or on the wrench icon to access its options.The options of the clock gadget allow you to enable the second hand or to change the timezone. Here I copied the installer file and then the name of the file.The options of the last gadget, the weather gadget, allow you to change the city. If you don't like the sidebar you can close it there. Click on options to change the behaviour of the sidebar.
Here you can, for example, click on the first checkbox to make the sidebar always visible. A disadvantage is though, that the close button of maximized windows isn't on the top-right corner anymore.Back at MIX, the Live Platform Services team announced a new standard APP-based protocol for accessing your Live data, and at Web 2.0 the Live Mesh team has announced plans to extend that API with synchronization-ready access to data, devices, application and activity feeds.
